The American Cetacean Society (ACS) is an amazing organization whose primary goal is to educate the public about cetaceans (whales, dolphins, and porpoises), how to protect them, and how to preserve their habitats. From coordinating with like-minded non-profits, to educating boaters on whale-watch safety, to setting up booths at special events like whale festivals and Earth Day celebrations, the ACS reaches people in a variety of ways with their positive message. We are so proud to have this tremendous organization as our first Brand Ambassador and we encourage any and all of our customers and fans to get involved with the ACS as either a volunteer or donor.
Water Gallery attended the ACS May 2015 meeting and we brought some of our bottles to display and sell. It was an edifying and fascinating evening learning more about these amazing sea creatures-- definitely a worthwhile cause. To contact the ACS with questions or volunteer interests, you can email them directly at email@example.com or attend a meeting on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Costa Mesa Neighborhood and Community Center, 1845 Park Avenue, Costa Mesa, California. Let's work hard to protect our cetaceans and our oceans by choosing glass water bottles instead of plastic water bottles, banning single-use plastic items of any kind, and choosing reusable items whenever possible!
