Did you know that, on average, ONE grocery store goes through 60,500,000 plastic or paper bags per year? Think of how many grocery stores are in your city...and this fact covers only ONE store! This is a shocking (and depressing) number of bags. Let's all make the effort to bring reusable cloth bags to the grocery store (or superstore, like Target, Walmart, Costco) EVERY TIME we shop. Think of how many bags you will save from the landfill by doing the simple act of bringing your own bags. It simply feels good to make good environmental choices!
As always, reduce, reuse, recycle. Small, everyday changes make a big difference!

That’s crazy!! I keep my reusable bags in the trunk, so I’ll always have them on hand!

Yeah I’m surprised were so far behind other countries with charging for bags in shops.
