Gallery Drinkware

It's not just WHAT you eat that matters...

Although of course the food itself that you put in your body is of the utmost importance, the plates and bowls, the silverware, the glasses, and containers you use are also worth considering. Do you want to consume food that you serve in cheaply made, imported materials or do you want to ensure that the materials on which you eat your food are made with care in the USA? At Water Gallery, the latter is without question our preference and even if we have to spend a little more money to initially buy these items, we know we will save money later because we are buying items of quality that will last. That's why, for our home use, we have chosen to purchase our flatware and eating/drinking vessels from US-based companies whenever possible. For example, we purchased our silverware from Liberty Tabletop.

Liberty Tabletop Flatware-- made in the USA!

Liberty creates high quality flatware and it's far from unaffordable. Most importantly, it's made in Sherrill, New York-- 100% made in the USA, which is important to us. Knowing that by purchasing Liberty flatware we are supporting American jobs and ensuring a high quality product that isn't made in China in as cheap a fashion as possible, it makes us feel great about the utensils we are using on a daily basis. The same goes for the plates and bowls we use, as well. For years we've been using Heath Ceramics for all of our food serving needs-- they make, in our opinion, the most attractive, sturdy, high-quality, and lasting plates, bowls, and platters available and all of their items are made in the USA. Heath places strong emphasis on caring for their workers and for focusing on quality and design, not mass-production or dollar amounts. We love this company and are proud support such a mindful, responsible organization.

At Water Gallery, we choose to emulate companies we admire-- those based in the USA, making high quality, responsibly-made, beautiful products. Companies who give back and who take good care of their employees. Organizations that put their customers and the quality of the materials they use at the forefront. Liberty Tabletop and Heath Ceramics are just two examples of those types of companies. It's important to do your research about a company's practices before you purchase, in our opinion, and we hope that someday Water Gallery will be admired as one of these types of companies.
