Water Gallery's transition to "Gallery Drinkware!"

We are very excited to finally announce something that we've been working on for a while: Water Gallery has officially transitioned to a new company name, Gallery Drinkware!

Same owners, same passion for the art and the glass, same quality-control...nothing has changed IN PRACTICE about our company except the name. But the name-change alone is representative of so much. What’s so special about this relatively subtle name change, you ask? Actually, a lot! As Water Gallery, we started with just our unique, artistic glass water bottles with which our customers fell in love. But now that we have added so much more to our line-up, including pint glasses, beer mugs, shot glasses, coffee mugs, water glasses, et cetera, all featuring incredible art, we have truly become a “gallery of drinkware.”

We are growing to include all sorts of artistic glass drinkware, including these gorgeous Wyland pint glasses!

Why did we begin with the name Water Gallery in the first place? Initially, when we created our signature bottles, we planned to always sell them filled with water (hence the name). But as our company grew and we began shipping the bottles to more far-away locales, we realized that there were far too many challenges of shipping bottles filled with water (i.e., water freezing inside the bottles when shipped during the winter months, the sheer weight that the water added to the shipments, the risk of breakage with the water inside the bottles, and so forth). With that knowledge, we made the long-thought-out decision to no longer sell the bottles filled with water, which thankfully didn't deter our rapidly growing customer base (after all, it's incredibly easy to simply fill the bottles oneself!).

To be sure, our bottles will always be our "babies," so to speak-- our signature item. And the bottles will still bear the name "Water Gallery" going forward, even after the Gallery Drinkware name change. Think of "Water Gallery" bottles as one category of items under the larger umbrella company Gallery Drinkware. But our plan has always been to create so much more than just the bottles. We are now a full drinkware line, which brings us to the exciting step of changing our name in order to encompass all that we are and what we are becoming. As Gallery Drinkware, our new company name represents our ongoing expansion, which will include bringing on many more exciting and iconic artists, starting with none other than the master Vincent Van Gogh in early 2017 (we will be blogging about this exciting development soon)! And we will continue to create drinkware pieces that are guaranteed to “wow” you all, pushing the limits of design by introducing new items, some of which will even feature incredible photography (something very rarely done on glass drinkware, if ever). We have had many requests for additional types of drinkware, such as unique, artistic wine glasses, which are currently in development at this moment. We are thrilled to bring you all along on this journey into Gallery Drinkware and we have confidence you’re going to love what’s to come. Stayed tuned-- 2017 is going to be a big year!

Congratulations on the name change! Kenny and his staff have always provided excellent Customer Service. In fact, they have gone the extra mile to assist me to find an item that was no longer available. An outstanding company and Best Wishes for 2017!

Since being introduced to and purchasing several Water Gallery bottles in the Keys earlier this year, I have purchased several more bottles and glasses and gave as Christmas gifts to friends who enjoy the Keys and/or Wyland art. Love all your work and looking forward to Van Gogh in 2017…..

We went to Wyland’s studio on vacation in California and I knew I had to have one of his bottles but didn’t get one until this Christmas when I got the Shark Reef one for my fiance to remind him of our trip!

I love the new name. But I love even more that the bottles that started it all will retain the original name. I can’t wait to see how far you’ll go! I will be tagging along for the ride, k?
